The well-rounded education provided by Shawnee Heights opened a variety of options for me. I chose to attend Washburn University to become an educator, mostly because of the inspiration I received from my teachers: Mr. Proffitt, Mr. Schultz, Mrs. Judd, Mr. and Mrs. Dormer, Mr. Riney, Mr. Gish, Mr. Foster, Sra Ricci, etc.
